REVIEW-NOELIA BLANCO

REVIEW "21 blackjack" is an American film directed by Robert Luketic and written by Peter Steinfeld and Allan Loeb. This film is based on the book “Bringing down the house”, a true story about the Blackjack Team. The main actors of the film are: Jim Sturgess as Ben Campbell, Kevin Spacey as Professor Micky Rosa and Kate Bosworth as Jill Taylor. The most enjoyable thing about the film is that is unpredictable and it just keeps surprising you, so you never know what is going to happen. Also, another thing that I find quite pleasant is that you can understand perfectly the actors and you don’t need to make an effort. The only fault I can find is that sometimes is a little monotonous because they are most of the time playing “blackjack” and it can get boring. In conclusion it’s a good film but you may need some information about the game before see the film.

21: blackjack review - Mireia Novejarque

Last month I saw the film 21 blackjack in the class.  Is a thriller directed by Robert Luketic and the main actors are Jim Sturgess (Ben),  Kate Bosworth (Jill),  Laurence Fishburne (Cole Wiliams),  Kevin Spacey (Micky Rosa). Also is a film based on a real history, the MIT blackjack team. The main character is a boy called Ben Campbell, he has a very high intellectual coefficient and has been accepted to the School of Medicine at Harvard University, but he does not have enough money to pay the registration and the residence, and he has to find the way to pay everything. Maybe with the blackjack? The film is very intriguing and dramatic, and if you like the films about strategy, this is your film.  My only criticism is that it makes blackjack and counting cards look like a simple and easy thing, but just that.

21 Black Jack- Pitu Castells

The movie is based on the blackjack card game. Ben, the protagonist, is studying in Massachusets, and has a special mentality for the numbers. But he needs 300,000 euros to pay the tuition. Enter a club where they earn money by counting cards playing blackjack at casinos. One day they catch him, and everything turns into a movie of persecution and deception. Ben tries to take over the group of swindlers and abandon the boss, Finally Ben forgets the 300,000 and goes in search of more money when he is persected by the police. I liked, but i will not see an other time, becouse it’s a little bit stressful. But i recomended to all the students, it’s exciting and it has a very good production and that it’s wath they like the young boys today.

21 BLAC JACK is a film directed by Robert Luketic. This film is starring for a guy that his name is Ben Campbell, this guy need earn money to get into a Harvard Medical School . He needs the money and his professor Rosa, tells him that every week a group of boys go to the Las Vegas to play Blackjack, and earn money. Ben lost his girlfriend, his friends… But he has one last chance, and he reunites the team for one last big score on Blackjack. The bad  aspects of this film , is that the movie is about a difficult topic that is the blackjack, because in this game it moves a lot of money and a lot of people is addict to this game. But the good aspect is that this topic it is not very talked and I think that this topic should see in more movies, because it is a problem that exist in our society. I recommend this movie.
