21 Black Jack - Ariadna Lacruz
The last day of english before holidays we saw 21 black jack that is a thriller based in a real history, directed by Robert Luketic and the main actors are Jim Sturgess (Ben), Kate Bosworth (Jill), Laurence Fishburne (Cole Wiliams), Kevin Spacey (Micky Rosa). Although this movie is inspired in a book called "Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T. Students Who Took Vegas for Millions" of Ben Mezrich.
About the plot, the movie is reference to one boy called Ben that wants to enter in Harvard, he have a excelent marks and can enter in it but the money is the problem, he have to pay 13,000 dolars for the inscription and for have a scholarship he have to live more experiences to fill it.
One day his teacher Micky that watched that he was very good at numbers said him to meet after school, after this he found herself in the middle of a group of a blackjack players. In a long time the teacher trained them to count the cards and go to the casinos to won a lot of money and with this Ben will be able to pay the university but this will not finish very well…
To finish I think is a movie entreteined and with a faster rythem. I saw it a lot of times in my house the typical sunday afternoon, it don’t have a very message that marks you, the unique thing I can consider is that not everything goes right, and everything have a consequence.
