21 BLACK JACK REVIEW-Eric Balseiro
21 black jack is a film directed by Robert Luketic, it is based on a
real history of the MIT Blackjack team.
The main character is
a Young boy called Ben Campbell, he is a Medical Student of Harvard University,
he has financial problems to pay the university even though he Works in a clothing
Store. A day of class in the university his teacher asked him to resolve a mathematic
problem, and he knew the solution surprisingly, after the class the teacher
told him that he has a black jack team who plays in Las Vegas every weak to earn
money easily, the team had a mathematic strategy to win. He accepted to be able
to pay the university career, but once he started, he didn’t stop until one day
he lost to much money of his team. After this he decided to continue playing
but the game room’s manager saw his strategy to win and he hit him to stop playing
in his room. His manager team went to stole in ben’s house and he stole all the
money witch he earned playing on the last weeks. Finally, Ben organized a plan
with his team colleagues so that the team’s manager would be seen by the room’s
manager to catch him.
In spite its delicate topic
this film teaches people many values that must be set for life, and it shows the
consequences of doing this type of actions.
My only criticism of the
film is that the topic can be interpreted differently like Black Jack being a
manner of earing lot of money.
In my opinion, it’s a very
well-dramatic fil.
Anyone who’s a fan of
moral film should see this film.
